A LIFETIME OF GOOD ORAL HEALTH

Making Strong Connections

Katie grew up in Chisago City, MN. She attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis for her undergrad degree in Biology. She then received her Masters of Dental Therapy from the University of Minnesota School Of Dentistry.

Katie has practiced Dental Therapy for 8 years. She enjoys making connections with patients and helping them feel comfortable during the dental appointment. She is particularly interested in pediatric dentistry. She believes that going to the dentist should be fun and likes to meet kids on their level. She stresses the importance of homecare and strives to inspire patients to create a lifetime of good oral health through preventative dental care.

Outside of the office, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and daughter. Her passions include archery, fishing, and being in the great outdoors. She also enjoys relaxing at home with a good book.

What is an Advanced Dental Therapist?

A dental therapist is a licensed oral health professional who practices as part of a dental team to provide primary care, including preventive and restorative services. Similar to a physician’s assistant, dental therapists have received advanced training and are qualified to perform certain services under the guidance of a dentist.

Dental Enjoyment

Katie wants all her patients to feel happy they went to the dentist. It's always her goal to ensure their enjoyment.

Oral Importance

Katie understands the importance of dental home care. She wants to inspire all her patients to strive for a lifetime of great oral health.

Child Friendly

Katie loves seeing children at the practice. It brings great satisfaction to impact them at a young age. Great oral health is built in the early years of life.
